چکیده
Abstract Background and Aims Obstetric acute renal failure (OARF) remains a frequent serious complication that engages the maternal fetal prognosis. The objective of our work is to develop predictive model obstetric in intensive care setting. Method To meet we conducted retrospective comparative analytical study spread over period 7 years, from January 2014 September 2021 within resuscitation department ABDERRAHIM HAROUCHI hospital CHU Ibn Rochd Casablanca. We have thus distinguished two groups parturients: • Group 1 “ OARF + ” : parturients with ARF (n = 863) 2 -” without 1856 Results During this 2719 admissions were collected including 863 cases classified according KDIGO classification percentage stages I, II III respectively 45.2%, 28.5% 25.3% cases. average age OARF+ sample was 28.6±5.4 years. 40% group primiparous 60% multiparous, majority occurring between 20 28 weeks' gestation (32%). associated pre-eclampsia 57% cases, hemorrhagic shock 37.19% severe sepsis 31.74% Extra purification necessary 148 (17.2%) mortality rate 26.18%. In univariate analysis, clinico-biological risk factors for occurrence haemostasis disorders (p < 0.001), hypertension oligo-anuria 0.002), anaemia 0.001) thrombocytopenia 0.001). As etiological factors, analysis allowed us retain Hellp Syndrome 0.002) DIC 0.002). Conclusion Pre-eclampsia, pre- postpartum hemorrhage, represent main etiologies ARF, which ICU setting responsible significant morbidity mortality. determination such detect prevent patients at risk.

Effect of aminophylline on renal function of brain injury patients with acute renal failure admitted to the intensive care unit
Introdution: Acute renal failure is a common complication in the brain injury patients. Released adenosine in injury can reduce renal glomerular filtration. Aminophylline is an inhibitor of releasing adenosine. So, this study aimed to evaluate the effect of intravenous aminophylline in renal function of brain-injured patients with acute renal failure admitted to the intensive care unit. Method...
متن کاملPrevention of acute renal failure in the intensive care unit
Acute renal failure (ARF) as a result of acute tubular necrosis (ATN) may develop in 10% of all patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU), and is associated with high morbidity and mortality rates.'-Wespite increased understanding of the pathophysiologic mechanisms operative in ATN, and the success of various treatments in reversing or ameliorating ATN in animal models, there are curre...
متن کاملAcute Renal Failure in the Intensive Care Unit
Acute renal failure (ARF) is a common complication in critically ill patients, with ARF requiring renal replacement therapy (RRT) developing in 5 to 10% of intensive care unit (ICU) patients. Epidemiological studies have demonstrated that ARF is an independent risk factor for mortality. Interventions to prevent the development of ARF are currently limited to a small number of settings, primaril...
متن کاملManagement of acute renal failure on the intensive care unit.
Acute renal failure (ARF) complicates up to 5% of all hospital admissions, and as many as 35% of patients admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU) receive renal replacement therapy (RRT)1. These figures will vary with the case mix of the unit, the threshold at which RRT is instituted and the definition of ARF used. The lack of a consensus definition of ARF remains a major problem in interpretin...
متن کاملAcute renal failure on the intensive care unit.
Acute renal failure (ARF) is one of the commonest complications of hospitalisation, with an overall incidence of up to 7%,1 rising towards 15% in the intensive care unit (ICU).2 ARF independently predicts mortality,3 to which it contributes directly largely through ‘non-renal’ effects such as bleeding and sepsis.4 Prompt action can save lives and nephrons; because of this potential reversibilit...
